Three Ways To Read A Poem

To approach                      the text                              head on

something wild                telling,                                confrontationally

a beast                               articulated                         and primeval,

Poetry                                out loud                             screams

on all fours                        and sibilating                    silently

crouches,                           hidden within                   a shadow

Stalking an                        emotion,                            memorable,

intellect                             emerges as                         a light

to catch                              a butterfly                          with its rays.
